A case of illegal drone flying occurred on Friday evening on Jylland, at Karup airbase, Denmark's largest military workplace.
The police tell the news agency Ritzau that the police were involved in an operation due to illegal drone flying both inside and outside the airbase area. The airspace was closed for a time for civil traffic due to the incident.
It was one or possibly two drones, says duty officer Simon Skelkjær to Ritzau.
He also says that the police have collaborated with the defense forces during the incident.
Over the past week, hundreds of drone alarms have been received by the Danish police. The authorities urge everyone to continue reporting new observations.
Also from Norway, on Saturday, come reports of a drone observation at Ørland airport in Trøndelag, reports NRK. The police have launched an investigation.
The Norwegian police are currently receiving many reports of possible drone activity. "The threshold for reporting incidents should be low, and we have a low threshold for conducting investigations", writes the police.
