The deficiencies were discovered by the Swedish Transport Agency during an inspection visit in the fall of 2024. The school has been providing training for heavy vehicle driving licences for several years, and over 100 driving tests were booked from January 2024 to March 2025.
"Because the traffic school has violated these requirements for a long time, the shortcomings are considered serious," says Mikael Rodemar, section head at the Swedish Transport Agency, in a press release.
The school has stated that it was not aware of the rules and that it planned to recruit staff with the right skills. The Swedish Transport Agency's decision to revoke the permit was appealed to the Administrative Court, which dismissed the appeal.
