A seriously ill woman in Blekinge was left alone in the ambulance for half an hour. The driver took the opportunity to run a private errand on the way to the hospital.

The patient had both sepsis and kidney failure and was to be driven from one hospital to another. However, the driver chose to run an errand at a furniture store and left the patient alone for a total of half an hour.

Blekingetrafiken has investigated the incident and the driver has received a verbal warning, reports P4 Blekinge.
