The two-legged tie will be played on July 21–22 and July 28–29, and Mjällby will start at home at Strandvallen.
Mjällby need to win a total of three two-legged ties to qualify for the Champions League group stage. If they lose in the second qualifying round, they will qualify for the Europa League.

IFK Göteborg will face the winner of the tie between Caernarfon Town (Wales) and Levadia Tallinn (Estonia) in the Conference League qualifiers, while city rivals Gais will face Danish Nordsjælland.
