Toronto's city race in Indycar became a real test with several incidents and many who broke.
American Colton Herta, who started in pole position, won the race.
Felix Rosenqvist, who started as third, made a miscalculation in the fight with Marcus Ericsson, and had to brake so hard that the tires were destroyed. He was then forced to break after 63 of 85 laps.
For Ericsson, the race was over when his front wing broke in connection with a collision with Pato O'Ward, Mexico, who spun.
Rookie Linus Lundqvist finished 13th.
The most dramatic incident occurred when several cars failed to avoid driving into stationary cars. American Santino Ferrucci took a proper flight, but was able to get out of the car seemingly unharmed.
