DP World, the large state-controlled ports and logistics group based in Dubai, has appointed Yuvraj Narayan as its new CEO and Essa Kazim as chairman of the board, the Dubai government wrote on the social network X.

The announcement follows the revelation of extensive correspondence between Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, the former CEO and chairman of DP World, and the late American sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem is not mentioned by name in the X post.

Following the revelation of the links between Epstein and Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, several major institutions, such as British International Investment and Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, have stopped doing business with DP World.
