The Green party reports Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade Benjamin Dousa (The Moderate Party) and his predecessor Johan Forssell (The Moderate Party) to the Committee on the Constitution.

The background is Ekot's revelation that the government has directed aid to projects near the Somali prime minister's office in exchange for the country to receive forcibly deported citizens from Sweden.

The Green party wants the Constitutional Committee to review the ministers' actions, according to DN.

It is extremely serious in this case when the government has allegedly tried to direct aid in order to fulfill its migration policy goals in a questionable way, says development policy spokesperson Janine Alm Ericsson to the newspaper.

Dousa has previously defended herself by saying that development policy can be used as a tool to achieve a functioning return.
