Doug Seegers was supposed to tour in October with Swedish artist Emilia Lindberg, but it was announced on Monday that he would not take part, Smålands Dagblad writes.
The reason for the entry ban is that Seegers overstayed during a previous visit to Sweden, according to Emilia Lindberg's manager.
The tour will still go ahead, but without Doug Seegers.
"We have left no stone unturned since this came to our attention, but we have concluded that it is impossible to resolve the situation," the manager wrote in a statement.
Doug Seegers, who was a street musician for many years, had his big breakthrough in Sweden in 2014 when he appeared on the TV show "Jills veranda".
