The first explosion occurred on an outdoor patio at a house in Hyllie at 5 pm on Wednesday. Just minutes later, the alarm came about a second explosion, in Limhamn. The explosion occurred indoors on a floor, directed at a door in the stairwell, according to the police.
Residents at the addresses were evacuated and the national bomb squad was called in. At 7 pm, the police announced that the bomb squad had completed its work in Limhamn, where the evacuation was completed, and then proceeded to the address in Hyllie.
The explosions have, according to the police, caused minor material damage, but no personal injuries.
Is there any connection between the explosions?
It's too early to say, says the police's press spokesperson Leif Fransson.
So far, no suspected person has been arrested.
