The first explosion occurred on an outdoor patio at a house in Hyllie at 5 pm on Wednesday. Just minutes later, the alarm came about a second explosion in Limhamn. The explosion occurred indoors on a floor, directed at a door in the stairwell, according to the police.
Findings at the crime scenes show that it was hand grenades in both explosions, the police write on their website.
Residents at the addresses were accommodated and the national bomb squad was called in. At 8:30 pm, the police announced that the bomb squad had completed its work at both addresses.
The explosions have, according to the police, caused minor material damage, but no personal injuries.
Is there any connection between the explosions?
It's too early to say, says the police's press spokesperson Leif Fransson.
So far, no suspected person has been arrested.
