Two smaller explosions occurred in Jönköping County during the night leading up to Sunday.
Just after midnight, the police were alerted that an object had exploded in connection with a smaller apartment building in Gislaved.
It has not caused any major material damage, says Kurt Marklund, duty officer at the police, to TT.
The incident is classified as reckless endangerment.
About two hours later, another object exploded outside an apartment building in Värnamo. There were no major material damages there either.
No doors or windows were damaged as far as I know, it was some outdoor stone slabs that cracked, says Kurt Marklund.
No one was injured and no one has been arrested on suspicion of involvement in either of the incidents. The police are now investigating whether there is a connection between the explosions.
They are very similar and occurred close in time, so the question of whether there is a connection is something we must investigate, says Kurt Marklund.
