Donatella Versace is leaving as the creative director of the luxury fashion brand Versace, a post she has held since 1997, reports AFP.
According to the owner, British Capri Holdings, she will be succeeded by Miu Miu's chief designer Dario Vitale. The 69-year-old Donatella Versace will instead become an ambassador for Versace.
Versace was founded by Gianni Versace and after his death, his sister Donatella took over the design work.
