We flew less domestically in April this year compared to the same month last year. This is shown by the state-owned Swedavia's air travel statistics, which report the number of passengers who have flown to and from Swedish airports.

Domestic air travel decreased by seven percent compared to April 2024.

But international travel increased. International air travel increased by 3 percent during the month compared to the previous April.

In total, 2,657,749 passengers passed through Swedavia's airports in April. This is an unchanged level compared to the same period last year, but 18 percent lower than the same period in 2019 – before the pandemic.
