Parton, who turns 80 on January 19, will be celebrated with a tribute concert on January 17 at Nashville's classic country venue The Grand Ole Opry.
Among others, Lainey Wilson, Vince Gill, Rhonda Vincent and songwriter Trannie Anderson will perform in her honor.
"Some of my favorite memories happened right here on stage at The Grand Ole Opry, and I wish I could be there in person," Parton said in a video clip released by the Opry earlier this week.
Dolly Parton was forced in September to postpone a series of upcoming concerts in Las Vegas until 2026 for health reasons.
