According to Dolly Parton, she and her team are in early negotiations about lending her unique voice and likeness to a company that could immortalize her.
The 80-year-old singer has not toured properly since 2016 and has postponed her planned six concerts at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas several times, but has now cancelled them completely.
Parton tells People that they are now working on new ways to give fans a musical experience, but that nothing is finished yet.
Her peers in ABBA have already led the way in performing with avatars through their acclaimed London shows, and it was recently announced that the band Kiss will follow in their footsteps and use the same technology.
