After a year mostly characterized by a falling dollar exchange rate, the currency now appears to be rising again. For just over a month now, the exchange rate has strengthened against several currencies, and has taken another leap upwards in connection with the war in Iran.
On January 27, one dollar cost 8.78 kronor; on March 13, it cost 9.48 kronor.
At the same time, the dollar is far from its previous peak levels. For example, it cost a little over 11 kronor in the first weeks of 2025.
