The county administrative board received a tip from a potential dog buyer and, upon checking the home, found dogs with matted and dirty fur, long claws and trampled feces on the floor, reports Hallandsposten.
The dogs were scared, apathetic and stressed. There were a total of 15 dogs in the home, and 13 of them lacked free access to water. The woman, who denies the crime, was given a suspended sentence and fined.
