Doge gets access to another national database with income information. The database has information linked to almost all working Americans who receive child support and maintenance, reports The Washington Post.

The White House's efficiency agency Doge (Department of government efficiency) has been granted so-called protected access to the federal health authority HHS database, according to an official at the authority.

The Doge employees are required to "complete all necessary training" before they gain access, according to the source.

Elon Musk's Doge has recently tried to obtain – and gained access to – personal tax information from several American authorities. The purpose is to identify and reduce government "waste", despite the fact that the information in question is often protected by federal laws.

On Friday, the Democrats demanded answers from the White House as to why Doge should have access to information about child benefits.
