When a threatening man was arrested in Ludvika, the suspect's tied dog broke loose and went on the attack against a police officer.
At the same time as the dog attacked, the police fired warning shots. The dog ran out into the forest and it was unclear whether the shots hit it or not, the police write on their website.
After a search effort, the dog was however found, and had to be put down due to its injuries.
