Two doctors have been reported to the Ivo by Sahlgrenska University Hospital after treating patients in a degrading manner and discharging suicidal patients too early, reports Göteborgs-Posten.
One of the doctors is also said to have instructed a suicidal patient on how to commit suicide. The patient did as the doctor said – but survived.
The two doctors – who work in psychiatry – were taken out of service in connection with an investigation by Sveriges Radio's Kaliber in P1 last autumn. Both have since left the hospital.
However, according to Sahlgrenska, a dispute is ongoing regarding the employment of one of the doctors.
You can briefly say that the doctor was dismissed in December, but that a union dispute is ongoing at the SKR level, says Fanny Edstam at Sahlgrenska's press service, to GP.
