Trump's doctor, Sean Barbabella, refers to the examination as a "planned follow-up", and is the president's second check-up this year.
"President Donald J Trump is still in exceptionally good health and shows strong cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological and physical ability", writes Barbabella in a document published on Friday evening local time by the White House.
The examination, which lasted for three hours, included laboratory tests and imaging diagnostics.
During the visit, 79-year-old Trump also received his annual flu vaccination and a booster dose of covid-19 vaccine.
Sean Barbabella states that Friday's health examination was part of the preparations for Trump's upcoming foreign trips. The president has scheduled visits to Egypt and Israel on Monday.
The check-up was carried out approximately three months after the White House announced that Trump had been diagnosed with a venous thrombosis. Trump had been seen with, among other things, heavily made-up bruises in connection with the announcement.
