Russia has attacked, among other places, Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk during the night.
In Zaporizhzhia, at least one person has been killed and another 20 people, three of them children, have been injured. A large number of residences have been damaged to varying degrees, according to the regional governor Ivan Fedorov on Telegram.
According to the newspaper The Kyiv Independent, 40 houses, 14 apartment complexes and a number of industrial properties have been damaged in the attack on Zaporizhzhia, which is located in southeastern Ukraine.
Attacks are also being reported from, among other places, Dnipro and Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
"The region is under a massive attack. Explosions are heard", wrote governor Serhij Lysak on Telegram during the night.
Dnipropetrovsk has been relatively spared from intense fighting since Russia launched its large-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. However, Kyiv acknowledged on Tuesday that Russian forces had entered the region, which Russia had previously stated.
During the night towards Saturday, Ukraine has simultaneously launched an attack on oil refineries in Russia, according to a commander to The Kyiv Independent. It is reportedly about facilities in the regions of Krasnodar and Samara.
