A woman NRK has spoken to had received her compensation paid out three times. Bank statements published in Norwegian media show that for example for a pensioner, it can be about 100,000 kronor instead of 33,000.
At the same time, several people tell NRK that they did not receive any payment at all.
DNB's press department tells NRK that it was a technical error from the bank's side that made many customers receive the same payment several times.
The error was discovered quickly and we are working on fixing the problem. The customers do not need to take any action, says DNB's press contact Stål Ulvin Garberg to the media company.
