Djurgården won at Borås arena, and broke Oscar Hiljemark's fine Elfsborg streak.

In the six-point match between Hammarby and Mjällby, it was the former who drew the longest straw.

Second-placed Djurgården took an important win in the top battle against sixth-placed Elfsborg.

The Stockholm team took the lead through new acquisition Patric Åslund, who made his first start for Djurgården.

Just before halftime, Besfort Zeneli equalized for Elfsborg. The 21-year-old thereby scored his first Allsvenskan goal of the season.

Unfortunately for Elfsborg's homegrown talent, his goal meant no points, as Besard Sabovic thundered in 2–1 for the away team in the second half, which became the final result.

The loss meant Oscar Hiljemark's first since he took over as head coach of Elfsborg.

The match between Elfsborg and Djurgården was postponed for an hour as the artificial turf at Borås arena became flooded. After heavy rainfall, the drains were full and the water had nowhere to go.

Djurgården is now four points behind league-leading Malmö, who have one more game played.

Besara the hero

Hammarby captain Nahir Besara decided the match against Mjällby with his two goals in ten minutes.

At 1–0, the midfielder sent a fine shot from the penalty area line that went tight past Noel Törnqvist's left post.

Shortly after, Besara was back to make it 2–0, right in front of Hammarby icon Kennedy Bakircioglu, who had taken a seat in the stands.

With five minutes left to play, Deniz Gül was awarded a penalty that Oscar Johansson Schellhas could capitalize on, and wrote the final result to 3–0.

Hammarby is fourth in Allsvenskan, Mjällby third.

Häcken's crush

The match between BK Häcken and Västerås became a one-sided story.

The home team took the lead in the third minute through Zeidane Inoussa, and then extended it three times.

The 2–0 goal was scored by Amande Romeo in the 23rd minute, Amar Layouni added to it in the 60th minute, and Srdan Hrstić finished off the scoring in the 89th minute.

Häcken is fifth in the table, and Västerås holds the bottom spot.
