Noel Gunler received a match penalty in Thursday's 3-2 loss to Brynäs after colliding with Källgren. The star goalie needed help off the ice, and Gunler was referred to the disciplinary committee.
On Friday, it was announced that Gunler would be suspended for two matches and fined 13,000 kronor (about $1,200).
Gunler will miss Djurgården's games against Malmö and Frölunda.
The suspension is the first in the SHL (Sweden's top ice hockey league) this season.
