The striker received the ball from Tokmac Nguen and scored 2–1 in the 72nd minute.
But the goal celebration at Tele2 Arena got stuck in the throat.
Deniz Hümmet was deemed offside and Djurgården had to wait for the VAR room's decision.
The wait was long – but ended in a new loud home cheer.
The 28-year-old was on the right side and got the goal approved.
The full hit gave Djurgården a 2–1 home win against Greek Panathinaikos, and thus they had turned the deficit into the season's first win in the Conference League.
I was proud of the first half, but even prouder of the second, says coach Roberth Björknesjö to Disney+.
Slow in the first
In the first half, however, the home team was slow.
Djurgården got a good opportunity early on and an even better one after about a quarter of an hour.
Nguen missed both.
Panathinaikos was much more effective and only needed half a chance to take the lead in Stockholm.
Filip Đuričić got hold of Marcus Danielsson's clearance and with his back to Djurgården's goal, the 32-year-old showed class in the 17th minute. The Serb offered a quality goal when he half-volleyed and got the ball in an arc over goalkeeper Oscar Jansson.
We had 3–1 in chances in the first half, but they made a magical finish, says Björknesjö.
"Fantastic atmosphere"
The home team came back, and Gulliksen scored the equalizer four minutes into the second, nicely played by Besard Sabovic.
And in the 72nd minute, Deniz Hümmet decided.
Fantastic atmosphere and fantastic to take three points, says Gulliksen to Disney+.
We play a good game, do everything to make it happen, and it's cool when we do.
Djurgården thus has four points in three matches in the Conference League.
Panathinaikos' Swedish striker Alexander Jeremejeff – who won the Swedish Championship with Häcken in 2022 – watched the match from the bench.
