It's swinging for the SHL newcomer Djurgården. After a loss came a win – this time 3–1 at home against Brynäs.

From loss to victory, from victory to loss. Djurgården continues to alternate between point-giving and result-less performances during the first SHL season after three years in Hockeyallsvenskan.

Now the Stockholm club struck again.

In the classic meeting at home with Brynäs, it became a victory with 3–1 – after having lost 3–7 away against HV71 in the previous round.

I noticed that the guys were switched on and wanted revenge. It was nice to win against Brynäs at home after the bottom performance in the previous match, says goalkeeper Magnus Hellberg, who was back after illness, to TV4 Play.

The foundation for the three points was laid during the first period, where Joseph Laleggia scored 1–0 after 9.24 minutes and then played forward his Canadian compatriot Charles Hudon to 2–0 in powerplay. Hudon then scored 3–1 in an empty net with 12 seconds left to play.

In the first period, we were not present from the start, I think they washed over us, says Brynäs coach Niklas Gällstedt to TV4 Play.
