Djurgarden saved a point with the last kick

Many believed Djurgården would easily sweep aside Oddevold in the Swedish Cup – but it didn't turn out that way. The Stockholm team equalized to 2–2 with the match's final kick and thereby avoided defeat against the Superettan team.

Oddevold took the lead as early as the fourth minute through Daniel Krezic and could extend it five minutes later through Rasmus Wiedesheim-Paul.

The result stood until the 78th minute when Djurgården finally got the ball in through Tokmac Nguen.

Then, an intense equalizing hunt began from DIF, who poured in balls into the box and called for penalties several times.

It would take until the final seconds of stoppage time when the Stockholm team got a free kick outside the penalty area. The ball was kicked in and landed in front of Keita Kosugi, who scored the equalizer.

2–2 and now Djurgården is two points behind IFK Göteborg, who leads the group. The two teams meet on Sunday in a decisive match.

In parallel, Allsvenskan Mjällby could clean up Gefle with a clear 5–0.
