Djurgården has still won only one game this SHL season - against Växjö after overtime. The latest loss in a row came on Saturday when they visited Frölunda.
The home team opened the scoring through Filip Cederqvist in the first period. After a goalless second period, Frölunda extended their lead twice in two minutes to 3-0 in the third period.
A goal back came quickly from Djurgården. Minutes later, the away team cut it to 3-2 on the power play when Nils Åman scored his first goal of the season.
Djurgården pushed for an equaliser, helped by several power plays. But it never came - instead, Max Friberg scored into an empty net to make it 4-2 with three seconds left.
It's a good performance against a good team, Djurgården coach Robert Kimby told TV4.
DIF's bottom rival Timrå lost in parallel to Skellefteå 1-4.
