Djurgården has reached the third qualifying round in the Europa Conference League. On Thursday evening, the Stockholm-based team visited Finnish Ilves Tammerfors in the first meeting of two.

There, Gustav Wikheim gave Djurgården the lead with just a minute of play left, through a shot from distance.

Ilves substituted Roope Riski, who ensured that the joy was short-lived for the guests. His 1–1 goal in the 66th minute was the match's last, and makes it a draw going into the return match a week from now.

The same result, 1–1, was achieved for Elfsborg in the third qualifying round of the Europa League against Rijeka in Croatia.

Jalal Abdullai gave the Borås-based team the lead in the 23rd minute after a corner. Just before halftime, Rijeka was able to equalize.

In the second half, the goalkeeper Abdullai drew his second yellow card for the match and had to leave the field. Elfsborg, with a man down, was occasionally pressed but managed to hold on and thus has a draw going into the next week's return match.
