Goals from Maho Hirosaw, Olivia Ulenius and Urara Watanabe in the first half secured a long-awaited victory for Djurgården. The Stockholm club has had a tough season and had not won since May.
In the second half, Djurgården continued to come in wave after wave, and in the 50th minute Hirosaw scored her second goal when she was alert after a shot hit the post, after which the goals kept coming and the match ended 8–0.

With the victory, Djurgården move up to a qualifying spot. Uppsala remain last.
In the parallel match, Eskilstuna United defeated Kristianstad 1–0.
