Goals from Maho Hirosaw, Olivia Ulenius and Urara Watanabe in the first half secured a long-awaited victory for Djurgården. The Stockholm club has had a tough season and had not won since May.
In the second half, Djurgården continued to attack in wave after wave, and in the 50th minute Hirosaw scored her second goal when she reacted quickest to a rebound off the post, after which the goals kept coming and the match ended 8–0.
With the victory, Djurgården move up to a qualifying spot. Uppsala remains last.
In the other match, Eskilstuna United defeated Kristianstad 1–0.
