It's cool, says Priske about his hattrick and continues:
It was my second in Djurgården, but the first in Allsvenskan. To win 8-2 has probably not happened since I was a youth team player, he says to HBO Max.
Thus, the sharp attacker is on 14 goals made, only one after Hammarby's top scorer Nahir Besara.
In the battle
After a tough and injury-filled spring, Djurgården is on the way up in the table.
The team has now ten straight matches without a loss, of which six wins.
The Stockholm team is seriously in the battle for European spots and is in seventh place, just three points behind third-place AIK with five rounds left to play.
The home game against Sirius offered a proper goal party against a generous opposing team.
August Priske headed in 1-0 already in the fifth minute, Mikael Anderson made his first Allsvenskan goal just five minutes later and Priske became a two-goal scorer in the 19th minute after the guests' goalkeeper David Celic deflected the ball into his own goal.
"Worst loss"
Celic was unfortunate on Djurgården's 4-1 goal through Jeppe Okkels.
In between, Isak Bjerkebo scored 3-1 after he had a post shot just before.
Sirius also made a goal after the break - but conceded four more.
Priske completed his hattrick when he made it 7-2 in the 72nd minute.
Sirius team captain Henrik Rönnlöf Castegren was ashamed afterwards.
It's the worst loss in my career. It's just to apologize to our supporters who put in time and money, he says.
