"It's just too bad. I'm a bit at a loss for words, there's so much at stake and we're playing a match like this. There's a lot we need to look at after this match," HV71 defender Olle Alsing tells TV4.
Anton Frondell opened the scoring for the home team after just under three minutes. Four minutes later, Gustav Lindström made it 2–0.
Early in the second period, Joseph Snively made it 3–0, and veteran Marcus Krüger made it 4–0 on the power play.
"It's not good enough. It's miserable today."
"We make far too many cheap mistakes and don't play as a team, make stupid decisions with the puck. I'm pretty down now," says Olle Alsing.
HV71 is in thirteenth place in the table, three points behind second-placed Leksand. Djurgården is in tenth.
