Novak Djokovic shows fine form in US Open, when he won in three straight sets against the German Jan-Lennard Struff.

The Serb was never really threatened and took home the victory with 6–3, 6–3, 6–2, and is thus moving on to the quarterfinals. The match was over in less than two hours.

The 38-year-old is thus the oldest ever to reach the men's singles quarterfinals in all four Grand Slam tournaments in the same season.

It definitely helps if you serve well. I think I served well in the previous round and also tonight, says Djokovic according to AFP.

It makes it easier on the court.

On the women's side, world number one Aryna Sabalenka crushed the Spaniard Cristina Bucsa when she won in two straight sets 6–1, 6–4. Sabalenka is also moving on to the US Open quarterfinals.
