Novak Djokovic shows fine form in US Open, when he won in three straight sets against the German Jan-Lennard Struff.
The Serb was never really threatened and took home the victory with 6–3, 6–3, 6–2, and is thus advancing to the quarterfinals. The match was over after less than two hours.
The 38-year-old is thus the oldest ever to reach the men's singles quarterfinals in all four Grand Slam tournaments in the same season.
On the women's side, world number one Aryna Sabalenka crushed the Spaniard Cristina Bucsa when she won in two straight sets 6–1, 6–4. Sabalenka is also advancing to the US Open quarterfinals.
