The Serbian tennis star lost in the second round of the Italian Open to 20-year-old qualifier Dino Prizmić of Croatia, 1–2 in sets.
It's doesn't look so good considering that the French Championships are just over a week away.
He played his first match in two months in Rome on Friday after a shoulder injury, and there will be no more competitive matches before Roland Garros.
"The situation is what it is. I train as much as my body allows me," said the 24-time grand slam winner.
When asked if he has time to get in good shape for the French Championships, he answered.
"I don't know, I hope so."
