Martina Navratilova of the Czech Republic/USA has the most match wins at Wimbledon, with 120 in women's singles.

It is of course a great honour and a privilege to be able to create history in this sport, says Novak Djokovic in the interview on Centre Court after Friday's match.

With the victory over 25th seed Rinderknech, seventh seed Djokovic advances to the fourth round, where he will face surprise qualifier Roman Safiullin. The 28-year-old Russian qualifier has knocked out several top players, most recently 24th seed João Fonseca of Brazil, 3-0 in sets in the third round.

Djokovic, who has won the most Grand Slam titles on the men's side, is chasing his 25th overall and eighth at Wimbledon, which would also tie Federer's record for the number of Wimbledon titles.

Djokovic won his last Grand Slam title at the 2023 US Open and is an outsider at this year's Wimbledon. Top seed and reigning champion Jannik Sinner is the favourite. The Italian is in the fourth round after a 3-0 win in sets against unseeded Jenson Brooksby of the USA.
