The dissatisfaction is, among other things, that Thiaw is coaching the team without a valid contract with the association. In addition, he is said to have demanded a high salary.
But at Sunday's press conference, the national team captain denied the reports.
"The problem with my contract is resolved, even though it took too long. It was never about money," says Pape Thiaw.
Norwegian VG also reports that the players have not received the bonuses they were entitled to and that the food at the hotel is not up to standard.
"The players, myself, and the association are focused on tomorrow (Monday's match against Norway). But it is true that there are some things that need to be resolved," says Thiaw.
