Several heavy-weight companies are providing support to the thousands affected by the massive fires in Los Angeles.

On Friday local time, the film company went out and promised to donate the equivalent of over 168 million kronor to the affected to help rebuild the city.

The money will be distributed among various groups, such as the American Red Cross, the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, and a food bank in the city.

Proud to Support

"Walt Disney came to Los Angeles with little more than his own boundless imagination, and it was here he decided to live, chase his dreams, and create fantastic stories that mean so much to so many around the world. We are proud to help this resilient and vibrant community when it needs it most," wrote Bob Iger, Disney's CEO, about the support.

A benefit concert for the affected is also planned to be held on January 30 at the Inuit Dome in Los Angeles, initiated by names such as entertainment moguls Shelli and Irving Azoff, together with Live Nation.

Several stars have reported losing their homes, including Milo Ventimiglia, Mel Gibson, Miles Teller, Billy Crystal, Paris Hilton, Jeff Bridges, Spencer Pratt, Ricki Lake, Adam Brody, Anna Faris, and Haley Joel Osment.
