The decline amounted to 7.9 percent, bringing wine and spirits exports from France to 14.3 billion euros last year, according to a post on the X platform by FEVS.
For wines, FEVS says they were down 4.1 percent for the year, while the decline for French spirits exports was a sharp 17.4 percent.
Due to the decline, exports calculated in euros were at their lowest level since the pandemic year of 2020.
