The Discrimination Ombudsman (DO) has decided to examine the police's treatment of the mother of the 14-year-old boy, Mohamed from Nässjö, who was murdered outside Stockholm in the summer of 2023. This reports P4 Jönköping.
When Mohamed's family asked the police for help in finding the boy when he disappeared, they were dismissed time and time again, according to P4 Jönköping's investigation. Later, Mohamed was found murdered by gang criminals. Mohamed's mother is said to have told the DO that she felt that the police completely lacked empathy for her and her worry for her missing son.
In April earlier this year, the Parliamentary Ombudsman (JO) in turn decided to examine the police's actions in connection with Mohamed and his friend Layth being kidnapped and killed.
