A whole football world has been affected by the tragic news that the Portuguese Liverpool star was killed in a car accident along with his brother André Silva in Spain on Thursday.
All European Championship matches on Thursday and Friday will be preceded by a minute of silence.
Portugal will play the match against Spain at Wankdorf Stadium in Bern with a black armband.
Portugal's national team coach Francisco Neto commented on Diogo Jota's death for uefa.com:
"We have lost one of our own. He was one who followed the 'Navegadoras' (Portugal's women's national team) closely. We are deeply saddened - there are no words. All we can say is that he will never be forgotten."
