Dino Beganovic has been part of Ferrari’s junior programme since 2020. Now the next phase awaits: from 2027, he will join the F1 team as a reserve and development driver.
The 22-year-old’s role will include being ready to step in for one of the regular drivers if needed.
“I will do my best to support the team and make sure I am ready to compete if that situation arises,” Beganovic said in a press release.
Beganovic will be with Ferrari at several of the remaining F1 races this year, while continuing to compete in Formula 2.
