The 22-year-old Swede saw his opportunity at the end of Sunday's race, overtaking Kush Maini from India on the final lap and securing his second podium finish of the season in the F2 circus.
The judges reviewed the situation, but Beganovic was not penalised and finished third behind Bulgaria's Nikola Tsolov and Irishman Alex Dunne.
"I tried to run a smart race, stay out of trouble, and managed to make a couple of decisive maneuvers when needed," the Swede said in a press release.
With the podium finish, Dino Beganovic received 15 points and climbed to sixth place in the overall standings, five points behind Norwegian Martinius Stenshorne, who is third.
