The major fuel chains will reduce the price of diesel on Monday by SEK 1.50 per liter, according to company prices listed on their websites. Price changes for private customers are of a similar magnitude.
After the reduction, a liter of diesel for private customers costs just over 20 kronor.
Gasoline is reduced by 30 öre per liter to approximately 18 kronor.
However, on Monday the world market price of oil rose again after Friday's sharp drop. This means that gasoline and diesel prices will also bounce back in the coming days.
The price fluctuates depending on the latest information about whether the Strait of Hormuz, which is so important for the world's oil market, is open.
