The rapper and music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs is sentenced to pay 100 million dollars, equivalent to over one billion kronor in damages, reports American media.
The damages are awarded by a court in Michigan and will go to a 51-year-old man who claims that Diddy drugged and raped him during a party in Detroit in 1997.
The renowned rapper lost the case automatically since he neither showed up at the hearing nor submitted a formal response.
Diddy denies the allegations through his representative and claims to have never met the man, who is himself serving time in prison for several crimes.
Since last November, several people have accused the artist of serious sexual assaults and trafficking.
