The humorous books about Greg Heffley have sparked a love of reading in children all over the world. Now, the book has sold over 300 million copies, writes Bonnier Carlsen in a press release.

The first book about Greg Heffley, signed by Jeff Kinney, was published in the USA in 2007. Now, the nineteenth book in the series – "Hett om öronen" has been released. A long series of films based on the books has also been made.

I never thought that my books could spark a love of reading in children, but it's a side effect that I'm incredibly happy about, said Jeff Kinney in an interview with TT in 2014 when his books had "only" sold 120 million copies.
