The contract extension with the club Phoenix Suns is for two years and amounts to a total of 145 million dollars, which means almost 1.4 billion kronor for Booker's part, reports ESPN. Spread over 82 regular season matches, this means that Booker will earn 8.4 million kronor per match.

When it comes to annual salary, it also means that he passes another superstar, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who recently signed a new contract with the NBA champions Oklahoma City Thunder. His contract is, however, spread over a year worth "only" 71.25 million dollars.

The 28-year-old Booker has made at least 25 points on average per match for the last seven seasons for his Phoenix and led the club to the NBA final in 2021, where it was, however, a loss.
