The data center in Munich will be one of Europe's largest and is expected to be operational in the first quarter of 2026. The German software company SAP is also working on the data center.
“In just six months, we are turning an idea into real AI computing power, made for Germany,” says Deutsche Telekom CEO Tim Höttges in a press release.
According to Deutsche Telekom, the data center will increase Germany's AI capacity by around 50 percent.
