It has previously been reported that Ibrahimovic and Allegri had difficulty getting along, and had different views on transfer strategy, among other things.
When the duo were discussing the signing of a third goalkeeper for the upcoming season, things even got physical - so much so that then-CEO Giorgio Furlani and sporting director Igli Tare had to keep the two men apart, writes Corriere della Sera.
The Italian newspaper also claims that Ibrahimovic did not get along with either Allegri or Igli Tare, who were both fired after the season. Furlani also had to leave his post after Milan failed to secure a Champions League place in Serie A.
