Travel at Swedavia's ten airports increased by five percent in April compared to the same month last year.
A total of just under 2.8 million passengers flew via Swedavia's airports. The vast majority of passengers, just over two million, travelled via Arlanda.
The total number of passengers is still 14 percent lower than in April 2019, before the pandemic.
Airlines have recently been canceling flights as the price of jet fuel has risen amid the effects of the Iran war on the oil market. In April, for example, SAS canceled 1,000 departures.
