The man was arrested on Sunday evening. The crime is classified as unlawful depiction of protected objects.
"We are investigating the circumstances at the scene, we are questioning witnesses and conducting technical examinations. The suspect will also be questioned in the presence of a public defender," says Assistant Prosecutor Johanna Hellsten in a press release from the Prosecution Authority.
The prosecution cannot answer whether the man is suspected of having photographed or filmed the masts.
Aftonbladet reports, citing information, that the man is a Russian citizen and that he is also suspected of having planned to sabotage the masts.
